The first back fins and chest fins are very wide and rounded at the end. The end of the fin is white on an adult shart (black end in juvenile). There is a line in between back fins. Short mouth and round widened (seen from underneath). The upper teeth has a shape of wide triangle, vertical, on the sides it has serrations; towards the back of the jaw, the tip of the sharp teeth is even more slanting. Upper teeth are small, slim and vertical.
Belongs to oceanic and pelagic sharks starting from the surface up to a depth of 152 m, usually it is far in the offshoare and close to the sides of the islands if the slate is narrow.
